Protecting Lone Workers

Lone workers can be at greater risk of harm as they may not have anyone to help or support them if things go wrong, especially if they have an accident or an emergency situation arises. .

Employers should provide training, supervision, monitoring and support for those people working alone.

The HSE has produced a very informative video which you can access here, and a free-to-download leaflet entitled Protecting lone workers: How to manage the risks of working alone.

MSP can provide Risk Assessments for Lone Working that would assist you and we also have an online e-Learning course.   You can contact us at info@mspbusinessservices.co.uk  or on Tel No 01202 800175.
